Introduction
These terms and conditions (“agreement”) are provided by Petersen Tree Experts (“service provider”). Please read the agreement carefully and ensure you understand and agree to it before signing. If you have any questions, call or text (208) 514-7226 or email hannah@petersen-tree-experts.com.
Quotes
The price for the services outlined in the quote are an estimate only. A payment on file is required when accepting the quote. The quote is valid for 90 days.
Service(s)
By accepting the quote, the client authorizes the service provider to schedule and begin work on the agreed upon date. Services may be delayed due to weather, equipment failure, or unforeseen issues. If additional time is needed or services need to be rescheduled, the service provider will work with the client on scheduling.
If the client requests additional services or modifications outside of the previously agreed service(s), the service provider must accept the changes and will add any additional cost to the final invoice.
We can be contacted for touch-ups and small changes for up to three business days after the initial service date. After three business days, all work is final.
Tree Planting
The service provider employs an ISA Certified Arborist (“Arborist”). The Arborist will use their expert knowledge and advanced techniques to provide a tailored plan when planting a new tree. They will assess the soil and choose the appropriate tree to ensure tree health and sustainable growth.
The Arborist will provide customers with information on how to take care of the new tree. It is the customers responsibility to take care of the new tree.
There is no warranty once the tree is planted.
Payment
All final invoices include a credit card service fee of 2.9%. There is no fee for cash, check, or debit card payments.
Payment is due on the day of service.
Acceptable payment methods include cash, check, debit or credit cards. If the client does not provide cash or check on the day of service, the card on file will be charged.
Additional Fees
An excessive pet waste fee of $100 may be added to the final invoice if the pet waste on the property results in unsanitary conditions or interferes with the crew’s ability to complete the agreed upon service(s).
Invoices outstanding for 7 days are subject to a $50 late payment charge.
Damages
The service provider has the equipment, knowledge and experience to prevent damage to personal property, however, some tree services can be a difficult process and may cause some minor damage.
